Loan Guarantee Items

The Loan Guarantee Items in support file contains all labels that are used to indicate items serving as loan collaterals during loan application. The loan guarantee items should be standard items that are approved by the organization as collateral in order to accept loan application.

How to add Loan Guarantee Items 

To add Loan Guarantee Items you go to Support Files ->Loan Guarantee Items and a screen like the one below shows up:

• Name of Guarantee Item: Here you enter the name of an item to be used as a guarantee when clients receive loans, e.g., "Land Title".
• Unit value: Enter the value of the item registered above, e.g., "550,000".
• Placebo code: Enter a 5-character placebo code for the loan category you have entered e.g "F02".

Note:
The placebo code is a code you enter manually yourself according to the institution's needs. It is different from the automatically generated code by LPF. This will enable you to filter and analyze your loan reports by the placebo code you will have defined. For instance, the regulatory reports sent to the Central risk management of Bank of Madagascar require that you analyse and declare your financial information by the placebo code and not the LPF automatically generated code. Click on the Add button to add the new guarantee item and repeat this for all the items that you want to register.

Click on the Close command button to exit.

How to Delete\Modify Loan Guarantee Items  

To delete\modify loan guarantee items you go to Support Files->Loan Guarantee Items and a screen like the one below shows up:

From the list of the displayed loan guarantee Items, click on the item that you want to delete\modify, e.g., "Land Title". The variables for the selected level will be displayed in the various parameter text boxes.

To Modify the item make the necessary changes and click on the Update button and to delete the item click on the Delete command button.

You can click on the Print command button to view\print the loan guarantee items and keep them for future reference.

Click on the Close button to exit the menu.
